We are a parent‑run, community‑driven group dedicated to promoting awareness and understanding of dyslexia, reading difficulties, and related learning differences among parents, educators, and school administration . The Pillars of Our Advocacy
Equitable Access
We champion every student's right to evidence-based literacy support, ensuring that learning differences never stand in the way of reaching full potential in Old Saybrook.
Student Well-being
Our efforts are guided entirely by student clinical and educational needs. We advocate for a culture of empowerment where students feel supported and understood.
No Cost to Families
We are a 100% volunteer, parent-run group. We operate at no cost to families and no one involved profits, ensuring our advocacy is purely community-driven.
Join the Movement
We invite you to join our parent-led advocacy group as we work together to ensure transparency and evidence-based literacy support for every student in our community. Your voice matters in our mission to empower families and foster a culture of educational transparency.
If your literacy program is not structured to get the most number of kids to the top, or to that level of society, or to proficiency, there is no equity. There can be no equity, no social justice, without literacy.
